Organic Cotton

Cotton grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). It is breathable, soft, and hypoallergenic, making it gentle on sensitive skin.

Transitionally Organic Hemp

Our hemp fiber is "transitionally" organic as it uses all organic practices but is still undergoing the certification process which takes years. Our hemp fiber is grown in regenerative organic co-ops and is cultivated and processed without synthetic chemicals.

PLA

Is a bioplastic derived from renewable sources such as cornstarch or sugarcane. Used in our products for the leak-proof back sheet and pad wrappers, PLA is compostable and a sustainable alternative to conventional plastics.

Chlorine Free Wood Pulp

A plant-based absorbent material sourced from sustainably harvested trees and processed without chlorine bleaching. This ensures no harmful dioxins are present while maintaining softness and absorbency. Wood pulp is only present in our "super absorbent" products, ie. the Super Pads.

SAP

SAP means super absorbent polymer and is used to absorb and retain large amounts of liquid. Often derived from plant-based or synthetic sources, SAP is used in pads and tampons to enhance absorbency and prevent leaks. SAP is only used in a small amount in our super pads for maximum absorption and the pads still maintain biodegradability.
